Shimmer is the first of many concept albums by the band exploring the idea of slowed tempos, simple chord progressions and eastern influences.

The initial idea for this album entirely revolved around a single reverb effect built into our new mixer, which is heard practically throughout the entire album. Every song was recorded in one long 35 minute take back in February of this year, save for the tracks "Headwaters" and "Chamomile". All natural sounds were recorded by us, either in Colorado or on the road (visit Yaquina Head lighthouse to hear the wonderful beach sounds in person!)

The bonus track is a non-stop 35 minute export for those who do not care to listen to the album shuffled and/or lack a gapless player.

This album is high dynamic range and is best listened to in order and with good headphones. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery while listening to Shimmer. Jubbledeppardy, Dome the Gnome Records, and their affiliates will not be held responsible for any psychological effects this album has on a given listener. Batteries not included.
